When completing my project I will need to go through many steps. First off, I will need to gather all of my materials. I searched my house for old t-shirts and pillowcases. I found most of the things I will need, but will need by buy a few more things like elastic. I expect to learn about sewing and helping other people. My sewing skills are minimal to none so I can only get better. Not only will I learn to sew, I feel like I will learn how to help people. I will develop an understanding on how others need our help. I envision my product will be many beautiful dresses. I would like to make enough for a family or two. I found my mentors right in my family. My mom, aunts, and grandma are very experienced in the sewing department. They also love helping people so I figured this would be right up their alley. I hope to learn many things about myself. I hope to learn that I can do a big project if I set my mind to it. I will need to work hard and be determined. I am most excited about helping people. I would love to see the smiles on these girls’ faces when they receive the dresses.
